The company was initiated in November 2003. BlueOrchard is its principal adviser for microfinance direct investments through debt products.

The St Honoré fund is a SICAV which invest in local and regional funds, cooperatives, network funds, etc. This attempts to go deeper into the mass of Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) worldwide and to aid in the development phase of these smaller MFIs. Fund of fund co-manages with Rothschild.

"BOLD" as it is often called in the market, is a limited liability company of Luxembourg, setup alike a special propose vehicle (SPV) which doeas long-term lending in USD and other selected currencies. It is essentially a securitized bond. BlueOrchard is sponsor and servicer.
